Well, he was harrassing the waitresses, the cause of his banning, but a better resolution would have been settling on a figure estimated as the value of those buffets (casino's cost or retail?) at his then current rate of attendance projected over his expected lifetime (actuarial table, not to include a mental illness factor). Something could have been arbitrated; whether he deserved it or not, I don't know.
The M has one of the best buffets in Vegas. I went there in February, only no one killed themselves. Some of the article commenters noted that at least he had the courtesy not to "take out" his family or any of the guests present at the time. Another commenter said that on the up side, his free buffet pass was reinstated. (I think he was kidding.} Some alluded to the old days when the casinos wined and dined their patrons; no mention was made of back rooming, pistol whipping, broken fingers, or desert resting places.
I shall return to The M Resort. Beware, however, their surveillance is top notch and their surveillance equipment even better, which is often the case.

Did this guy really come to M buffet EVERY DAY before he finally got barred? The casino has to do something. Having the waitress not attending his table is one way to let him know he is not welcome there. Even the buffet is free, he should have given $10 tip to the waiter based on the value of the buffet.
Agree with Aslan. Yes, casinos do horrid things. But, this guy clearly had serious problems if he decided to make a point by destroying the Easter experience of numerous innocents. This would tend to make more believable the casino claim that he was a problem was real. We don't know if he was a simple jerk, or groping waitresses. But, he clearly wasn’t sane.

Well a 270 page or pages suicide note. Blaming his depression on their barring him from the casino buffet and their treatment of him. I've heard of bad buffet food but this takes the cake. Luckily he hurt no one else but I'm sure that the experience of the guests who witnessed him were a bit stressed out. Casinos obviously can affect one's mental health..............in addition to our pocketbook.
