    Vegas double decks

I don't play much bj these days but was vacationing in Vegas a couple weeks ago and decided to play a little for old times sake. Since I don't care much anymore I played some 50/100 min double decks on the strip, and couldn't even believe how hilariously sweaty these games were. Even compared to two years ago it is way worse.

It went like this at two different stores: do you have a players card sir? No. Then they instantly call surveillance after two min and sweat my table the whole time. To be fair another store actually took my action for a 90 min session with no huge problems.

The funny thing is that there's no way I could ever win enough even at these good dd games to justify the expense of all this crap. The floor, the surveillance guy, the software and expensive database subscriptions, they really add up. In fact there's almost no way the casino could be making money on these games period. They might as well just switch to nothing but 6/5 shoes. Which is what a lot of them are doing.

Do you think a max bet of 2x200 at 6 or 8 deck games on the strip would receive much attention?

Funny....I don't notice a lot of heat playing strip DD. I don't play 50/100 min; only 25, and I use small buy-ins and very short sessions. I walk a lot...

Offstrip...different story. I just Christmas-chip at the places with good pen and play rated. Short sessions with wins, a little longer if I'm losing.

Haven't been backed off anywhere besides Cosmo and Elco, and that was a while ago when I played much more aggressively.

Fiesta, if you vary your bets sizeably.........spread what you need to spread to win.......I bet your experience at DD in Vegas will be a MITE different. But short sessions and "hit and running" is a good tactic.
