In a shoe blackjack game in a jurisdiction where burning a card at the start or during a dealer change is part of regulations, would it be reasonable to request the option to back out of the hand?? Please advise.
<<<<<<<<<word for word from State regulations under "Blackjack Rules"<<<<<<<<<
(3) After each full batch of cards is placed in the shoe, the dealer shall remove the first card and place it in the discard rack.
(4) Each new dealer who comes to the table shall also remove one card and place it in the discard rack before dealing any cards to the players.
You can ask for an option after the cards are dealt if you want. It sounds like it may be required to be a dead hand if they stop the game long enough to do the research. Te would mean all your hands are dead and your money will be returned. I have won almost every dispute with a casino in the end but sometimes tat is winning the battle and losing the war. Casinos don't have to let you play. Do you profit if the game slows to a crawl? Is it really a good idea to get surveillance involved?
