What kind of "trouble"? With the casino? They can kick you out for basically anything, aside from race/religion/etc. You aren't going to get into trouble, legally speaking, for not pointing out an error. But when you're dealing with the casino and whether they're going to kick you out or not, you're not in a court room. You can claim ignorance (and hell, maybe you actually weren't paying attention!).....but they can and perhaps will still kick you out.
I wouldn't worry about getting kicked out for not pointing out a dealer's mistake.
I would worry about 2 things, well, possibly worry about:
1) Taking shots. Don't do shit like wave the hand off and say "Hit" [verbally] at the same time to try to mess up the dealer. Casinos don't like that. You might get a shot at it once, but after that, you're outta there. [I don't think this is what you're talking about, but, don't get any funny ideas!]
2) Let's say you have a big bet out there and you get paid extra on your BJ, maybe the dealer pays you out twice. Let's just say, theoretically, someone in surveillance or a floor person saw this, maybe after the fact, or even live -- but second guessed themselves whether you got paid out the first time. You certainly don't want surveillance or the floor to be watching you (or just watching the dealer) for dealer mistakes. The more they look at your table, the worse. If the casino is in your backyard and you have a good idea that they're going to review it and find out you got paid by mistake -- you might want to bring it up. If you're just there every now and again, or rarely there [or won't be back ever].....then go ahead, take the extra money!
