Does it make sense? Yes.
Do I think there's something there? No.
On one hand, we have a super awesome argument for why this works with some decent theoretical statistical analysis behind it, supporting.
However, that's just a small, fractional portion of the big picture there, and I wholeheartedly believe that someone wildly more intelligent than my self like Tthree, will come in here and post more factual representations as for "why" that is so. But for the time being, there's just so much information left out of the analysis there, that I'd have a hard time swallowing the "long game" approach to such a situation.
With .04% EV at +5 with variance, I don't think I'll be spending a lot of time counting it. If you run $ 100,000.00 through, you might win $ 40.00 if you don't hit bad variance. That's 40 hours at $ 25.00 per hand to make $40.00 or $1.00 per hour if you play enough to hit the long term.

btw, I noticed stephenhow has stopped writing about gambling and gone on a starch diet and has dropped from 235 to 175 in a little over a year. Congratulations
