Just wonder if there is anyone like to share experiences ideas on how to improve the game in DMV area, ping me
well almost 100% accurate, in this case this DC, Maryland and VA, honestly I think it is quite essential to know ppl who are trying to become APs not necessarily trying to form a team or something, but more of sharing experiences and support.
Let me know if anyone is interested.
I met a counter a few week back in Live, it was quite obvious to me that he was counting, I think he was back counting a bit on my table cuz there were only 3 players at that moment, and then he jumped in , played min bet for a few hands and started betting like crazy hiding the green chips under the red just like what K Uston explained in his book, but still quite a lot of money were at stake I could tell he was a bit nervous, but he was lucky and did a good job to win the high count hands and left fairly quickly after that. It was the first time I did come across a counter, honestly I don't think casino really care about small time counters.
This is common for gamblers. They put low denomination chips on top of high denomination chips so a rail thief pinching the top of the stack only gets the less valuable chips or the grab makes the EITS instantly see the stack change making who did the grab a given. The player knows a grab happened because the stack no longer has low denomination chips on top.
The guy may have been a counter or other type of AP but the way he stacked his chips is not evidence of it. Everyone should stack chips in such a manner if they have chips of different denominations. It is just the safe thing to do.
