Vik, if you read back into the forum you will find at least a dozen ways to make money from casinos that are not counting.
The tone on this site is ridiculously obnoxious, constant berating, jumping to conclusions, freaking out over nothing. It's honestly pathetic. Yes Coyote, I am serious, my post is accurate, as I said, without more info it appears one way. Now please, don't treat me like I'm 12. . .
I think we all need to step back and realize that there are people on this board at every knowledge and skill level imaginable. It's easy to assume everyone should be on the same page, but that is not, and cannot, be the case.
vik, you need to understand that your sincere comment was so far out of synch with what is common knowledge by members of this board that the instant reaction you got was more one of astonishment than berating. If you want to learn from the many highly skilled individuals here, you'll have to swallow your pride a little and take the place of student at the feet of many masters. I hope I am not overstating the skills of people here, but I don't think so. I have been posting here and at the predecessor site since 2007 and I still feel like a student.
I can tell you that the vast majority of individuals here are sincere, everyday people who love advantage play and who both want to learn and want to pass on the knowledge they have to others like yourself.

I will say that when many started out, I and Solo being 2 of them, we did not have nice forums like this to learn from or have AP moves handed out to us on a golden platter,,,we had to scrounge for good books, and learn by trial and error and our own out of envelope thinking. Maybe if we were lucky we met a seasoned AP that may or may not impart some wisdom.
Today the newbies seem to want everything now, Plays, Conditions, Secrets, etc. handed out on a platter or they get sarcastic,,,this is bullsheet in my opinion!
Many of the posters here received a great benefit, me included, when the "BJ BASH" was originated, and then that title a year ago was changed to the "AP BASH" where interested members of the site were vetted and then invited to attend a weekend gathering of AP's which led to startling increases of AP SKILLZ, in a very short period, and the all important networks were established among AP's that had formed personal bonds with one another,,,that works great to this very day, (with the exception of one attendee). I can only imagine what it would have meant to me in my beginning years to have had such an opportunity.

I have scoured this forum, reading thread after thread after thread. It is not an issue of pride, I love learning, it is the only thing that keeps a person youthful. . . I was pointing out that straying from our small statistical advantage is straying from advantage play at all, I received mockery in return.
Ouchez- I understand that frustration, much like this younger generation demanding ipods and cell phones at ages 7-14, absolutely absurd. I do not demand secrets, nor care much about them at all, AP works, I can sit down at any table with decent rules and know I have a statistical advantage over the casino.
What most everybody knew when you posted your post was he was talking about straying from a small statistical advantage to a much larger one. The way blackjack got screwed up by public info these more profitable approaches to table games and even slots are not openly discussed on the public boards. Why would anyone want to see their advantage shrink by defining it for the casinos causing them to take countermeasures? Think about it.
nuthin wrong with being sophomoric, (doubtless i still am), and it's typical for the upper class-men to react to it, lol. but everyone posted in this thread is a gentleman and a scholar, with no real harm meant, i'm sure.
besides, posting in internet forums doesn't always go so smoothly. things one would assume others will get, well they just don't.
but as ouchez alludes, networking is an advantage play, so all here are doin the right thing, lol.
i'll never forget a bash i attended and a guy was there i was just sure was a degenerate gambler, lol. i felt sorry for him, lol, talked to him a bit, from that i learned how to achieve nearly twelve times the advantage i had been playing. go figure, lol.

Also, do a little research on this site to better understand whom you are dealing with. Many are very seasoned. You need to learn to read between lines in a few of these posts.
