I know of several stories of players who were ratted out to casinos by angry ex-girlfriends. Really not a good idea to date dealers or bosses.

In my local store, they are prohibited from dating customers or even get social outside of work. The casino workers fear for their jobs. I tried multiple times but it's no bueno. Maybe i'm just fugly lol

I once dated a cashier who then transitioned to become a BJ dealer. At first she thought I was a typical finance-bro who happened to degen it up on the weekends, but she found it odd that I would oftentimes be at the casino alone (her reasoning was that most degens my age come with a group of friends). A few times I admittedly took advantage of the situation--she was ironically quite bad at math, and if I reacted in a positive manner when I hit something like a five-card 22, she would just assume I made 21. I stopped doing this when I realized she wasn't well-liked by her bosses to begin with, and I didn't want to get her into further trouble. FWIW, she was married, so I assumed that even if she knew I was an AP, she wouldn't rat me out for fear of me unveiling her secret. Long story short, it was an interesting experience that never developed into anything serious, but it was likely more trouble than it was worth. If, however, you can completely distance yourself from any ethical dilemmas you encounter (and there will likely be many, even if the dealer isn't married!), you likely can make quite a bit of money with it.

On a separate note, I've dated a few poker dealers in my time, and those experiences were much better. Sometimes they passed on murmurings of potential blackjack promotions, management thoughts, etc. that they had heard from their friends who worked in the same casino, and I didn't have to deal with the ethics involved with dating a BJ dealer. They also seemed more stable, on average, for whatever that's worth.
