How do CVBJ, CVData and CVCX work with Windows 8.1, tablets and touchscreens? Can the user of CVBJ use a touchscreen to play with hand signals, in contact with the screen, rather than with a mouse or the touchpad of a notebook?

Don't know bout CVBJ - CVCX and CVdata work fine. Make sure u get the newer version with USB port, install via external drive. Just got the Surface tablet - motivating factor were fast sims with real portability when out of town. Obviously well suited for biz applications as well. Combined with IPad - awesome combination.
I much prefer to install software by CD . . . and have the back-up, even if I download updates. Why would I need two tablets: the "awesome combination" of IPad and Surface?
Suppose that a person is caught in a casino with a computer with CV programs in it, with the power turned off. Is it likely that he will be accused of possession of a cheating device with the intention to use it? How likely is it that he will be convicted? He can be in for the hassle of his life!
Should have better clarified - comment was intended as awesome combination for non bj purposes, I.e., business purposes. Installation of software is by external CD drive since tablets don't have CD capability, which is why I said you should get newer tablet with USB port.
With tablet or laptop turned off, in a laptop bag etc, how can it be a cheating device. Notwithstanding, why is it not in your room or car?
Will CV products work under Windows RT (Like on a Surface)? I think you have to have real Windows (Like on Surface Pro or a real laptop/computer) to use the software. I agree above, if you have an iPad why get a different tablet? I like my old-school laptop, if I want a tablet for web surfing and media I'd rather just get a Kindle HDX. Much cheaper and better suited for doing that stuff. That said, with Office for iPad about to come out, it's looking better all the time, I just can't get past the no expandable memory and no USB port.
I have never and will never develop software designed for illegal purposes. This makes it extremely difficult for a casino to claim the mere existence of CV products on a turned-off device is a violation of device laws, or any cheating laws. It's not like lock-picks, the possession of which are considered a burglary tool in many states without a license. Having said that, keep the device turned off while on the gaming floor.

BP, the Surface Tablet I have does have a USB port (1) and I have a few things that won't work on the IPad, hence - 2 tablets. It doesn't pay me to get office for Mac as I have too many computers on Windows. The 128 gig had in the tablet is not that big (in context these days) but quite sufficient for the purposes I have in mind for it.
