CVCX is a tool for analyzing different counting systems, games, rules, penetration, bet schedules, and bankroll scenarios to predict your EV, variance/standard deviation, and Risk. This allows you to get an instinct and understanding of how your advantage and risk vary given the myriad of different variables that go into your performance. Understanding how your performance will vary under the different game conditions will become very important as you progress from learning the mechanics and mental skills of counting, to the art of game evaluation, selection, and management that make up a very large part of being serious at this activity.
