Converting KO Running Count to TKO True Count

thanks. the formula I had was (RC - (4 x decks played) ) / decks remaining.

that's the formula from the color of blackjack. why are there two formulas?

In the Color of Blackjack the author use the IRC to equal 0. Therefore, plugging IRC into the formula muchz posted it will be

(RC-IRC-4*(decks played))/decks remaining = (RC-0-4*(decks played))/decks remaining= (RC - (4 x decks played) ) / decks remaining.

If you set IRC = 2 plug in 2 for IRC to get the correct TC.
