I mean the question is kind of tricky. Do you get a big bulk of your yearly EV at this store? Do you just count at this store or do you do other ap plays? If it were me and I was straight counting at this store I prob would just go about my business and avoid the dealer, if he or she rats you out for counting watrv. **** happens. Your kind in a ****ty situation but don't let anyone take EV out of your pocket when you did nothing wrong (except for getting too friendly with casino personel)

Also try to find out who this store shares info with because the worst that probably going to happen is the person rats you out for being a counter. If this isn't the most tolerant store in a close together market and the market shares info with each other I would stay away and just focus on the tolerant stores.

After assessing my own personal situation I have quickly come to realize it does not make sense to play in most casinos. The small intolerant (not doing well in revenue usually. This does not apply to dumb small out of the the way casinos in bumf*ck USA) will flyer and database you to the tolerant stores that let you camp out and tolerate your action. So if this store is a tolerant one, don't back your self off , that's the casino's job not yours... you did nothing wrong, just don't cheat.. its that simple

good luck in whatever you decide

I would recommend not mentioning another word about it but shuffling the dealer tips.
It will keep it smooth for you and if you never "knew" about it, what can possibly happen

They're probably watching this dealer now, giving him enough rope to hang himself. Ask yourself this. Do you think you're the only one he's approached?

I was playing at a GREAT Mississippi game just two years ago.

Noteworthy was the fact that dealers "kept their own" (tokes).

    A dealer actually told me:

(sic) "You want to win ? I count cards. I'll tell you how much to bet and
how to play. You take care of me with tokes."

    I walked away.

    He was soon gone.

I suspect he became a guest at the County Jail.

Is that actually illegal (for the dealer) to do?

A lot come pretty close to that. They will say it is time to raise your bets when the count goes through the roof. If the players do well they tip. Some are more subtle but they are letting you know they count too and are willing to make things go more to your liking.
