    What took it so long?

    Almost 2 months, 471 angry & snide posts, around 11 "fight club" posts per day (when he was NOT under suspension).


    Rainmaker/The Dude/Caucasian has shown time-and-again that he has plenty of time to waste, and is intent on disrupting the Forum.

    I would NOT be surprised if he was banned before "Caucasian". In retrospect, he had the markings of Alpine (which in turn could have been a reincarnation of another banned member). I would also NOT be surprised if he is currently registered in the Forum.


    Members, just be on the lookout for anything amiss from a junior member. Someone belligerent, snide, offensive, angry, confrontational. Then use the "black triangle" "report this post" button on the post to alert Norm and the other mods for suspicious posts.

    Handicapping is EXTREMELY hard! All statistical evidence (and game insights) may indicate strongly a specific outcome, winner, or continuing trend; but a turn-over, a missed field goal, an erroneous call, a key injury, etc. can easily change the outcome, the margins, and/or the totals. Division rivalry games and games with playoff implications are highly unpredictable.

    I was going to post a reply to the Mermaid Test with odor being relevant to the choice but thought better of it.

    As regards I.Q, I am a product of the public school system circa 1956 to 1974, I'll be lucky to get through dealer school....

    Wise man Metro. I can tell you I've also copped flak for the odd joke about mermaids and the smell of fish. So I'm sorry to hear there's a Texan here who has nothing to brag about. C'mon man, there must be sumthin ... Granted you ain't no genius either, but so far as I can tell we only have one here so far: 3 (Not sure if he's from Taxes.)
    Anyway, take a stab at the fishy test and you could win a place (if successful) at     Dubya's alpaca ranch where you can learn how to rope roll and brand em. Gud luck with that.
