I don't blame Norm for trying to monetize this. Actually, I don't even blame him for doing this just to keep the trolls out ($3 a month is not much). But, I'll be sticking around the free area. Let me know when the next Bash is!

The Cash Cow.
I ask 2 questions? I didn't know what he meant by this? Was he generalizing or speaking to certain specific posts? Helpful 63 out of 71 posts certainly speaks to his creditbility - in multiple deck - multi player games. If I ever had a desire to play multiple decks/players, then yes I would embrace the knowledge of members such as this. He once accused me of being a troll. I do not know what he meant by that and/or what his video had to do with blackjack. The Tarzan video certainly had something to do with the game. How is that an attack? I may address your other question and comment later.
Is that you Bobby? Just kidding. It's open and closing comments such as this, name calling, videos meant to belittle or suggest superiority, that makes the forum confrontational. So you choose to disrespect me? It's okay, I don't think you are too far away. I'll give you a chance to make some money against someone of far less intelligence than yourself. How Many, How Ironic! If you have a bankroll worth the effort I will play 1 on 1 against you instead of the house. That offer extends to Moo as well.
I have respect for HowMany. But this is a good point. People are always throwing fuel on the fire, then say 'oh I am sick of all these nonsense threads' or 'show respect'. This site has its politics. Some newbies are hazed and are jumped on when they say regular things that are taken the wrong way. If they express that their reception was off-putting, it only gets worse. Other newbies jump on the bandwagon of the majoritarian side of whatever drama is going on to try and buy respect. Some established members can say whatever they want. Others do not have that privilege. I personally do not care if someone calls moses an idiot. But if I were in his shoes, why should I have to censor my response beyond what I personally believe is appropriate? I wouldn't, but no doubt someone would disagree and tell me about it--throwing fuel on the fire. It actually has not been so bad with me...but a little bit here and there, and I notice it all the time.

RollingStoned: Thanks for the clarification. So, I see how it works now. Everything is fine as long as we subscribe to the mainstream belief system. Having a contrarian opinion or approach is considered stirring it up. I'm sorry to disagree but there is a huge difference between winning at singledeck 1 on 1 and multiple decks/players.
I'm not saying it cannot be done but the games are different and multi is more complex.
as a non AP, i was NEVER trying to stir things up, always sincere and yet was called a troll numerous times. i believe the word gets over-used by dogmatic AP guys when some do dare to express other than their orthodoxy. i will be making a voodoo post soon regarding an upcoming trip and i anticipate having to endure such uninvited name-calling. some of you AP's are great guys and it would be cool if you would hoot-down some of your less polite AP peers but i am not holding my breath.
as many of you hope 3 bucks will buy you some filtering from guys like me ( i think it will), i find myself hoping the disadvantage forum will enjoy the ongoing input of you good-guys and i plan to out the rude guys as obvious, uninvited, sick TROLLS who obviously know they are in the disadvantage forum and oughta keep their pie-holes shut if they can't stay on-point = NOT AP.
this remains a true "forum" and as norm said, that includes commerce amongst the free exchange of ideas.
Good post HCB: Non-Troll = veteran forumites with mainstream opinion offering one-line condescending quips...and now they are "paying" to stay away from those with a different perspective. Hilarious.
Pro Player = one who makes his living playing this game. Flash; Tarzan; DBJT, big player.
Productive players = Those willing to put in the time, study, and effort to constantly improve their game to remain in the black and grow. Tthree, Nyne, Kj, 8675309, stevestheman, midnite toker, rollingstoned
Up and Comers: Fierce desire to improve their game. Hate to lose. Hard-workers; sometimes misunderstood; often bashed by Non-Trolls; Hardin County Boy, Rainmaker;
Legends of their own mind; Sadly those so deep in the red that there only contribution left to this game are one-line condescending quips. "moses and rainmaker living in the same parallel" - followed by stupid sign. and "Threads like these are the reason why many of us lose interest in message boards"; To which I reply Grow up and put your big boy pants on.
I prefer to be a nice guy and give respect to others or say nothing at all. But if you're going to "suggest" your superiority over another with one line condescending qoutes, then yes, a load in return is a given. If you choose to give disrespect then don't cry about what you get in return.
