    Thanks, thats what i suspected. I remember back after i surrendered after splitting pair of 9s i got excited thinking to myself this could be good rule. But then i went through all the possible surrenders and realized there are barely any opportunities. But i overlooked after splitting aces. That would be nice to surrender a big bet after splitting aces if you dont get 17-21.
