Hi all,
I am new to the community here and wish to learn a bit about card counting and advantage play in general.

I am currently working on a student university design project to create a physical blackjack card counter trainer mat.

I am envisaging a mat that reads the cards dealt out to players and the dealer which teaches you:

1. hand specific basic strategy for beginners
2. popular card counting systems
3. and a longterm statistics management (EV etc.)

What I would like to know is there any other metric that might help improve strategy?
Would a physical mat have been of benefit to you vs. the ubiquitous online simulators?

Any insight from veterans would be of great help thanks!
