pm me for info about canada, esp. if u can trade info
No it wouldn't and with 50% PEN traveling to a foreign country to play it would def not be fun IMO.
With NO PEEK, NO DAS and D10 it would NOT have an advantage.
Also, Some of the advertised ES cannot be used against an ACE so you don't gain the same gain that you would with true ES.
BUT even with true ES I would most definitely NOT travel out of the country to play it if the pen was 50%.
If it had good PEN, High Limits, was SAFE and had Lack of Heat and TRUE ES it would be great but HE wise It would be slightly better than some games which I can find in the SAFETY of the US for 25% of the travel costs.
You could fly all the way there based on a phone call and the rules can be not what you were expecting, (IE ES but not against Ace No DAS, D10 ETC) plus there can be heat, then to make it worse they cut the shoe in half.
My point was something that sounds great on the phone may not actually be all it's cracked up to be once you get there.

It is important to understand what your "overhead" is if you are thinking of playing BJ far far from home.
Fees vary, but you will need to pay to convert your cash into local currency and back into dollars.
You can expect to pay exorbitant aggregate fees as high as 4% or 5% in various countries.
In London I met an (AP) investment banker who offered to convert currency for 1% each way, as a personal favor.
Estimate your win rate, and then factor in the exorbitant currency exchange fees, the European "No Hole Card" rules and generally poor penetration (of 65% - 70% most typically); and you should conclude that Card Counting is a generally poor idea, although there are methods for exploiting these games. Interested parties may contact me regarding this cryptic statement.
Note: In many countries dealers are sloppy and careless ... making for Carnival Games ripe for exploitation.
Note: In many countries table maximum bets can be uncomfortably low.
Note: Being an American will put surveillance on "High alert" - if you are not one among many tourists.
Note: Korean Casinos do not want your business. They will tolerate you if you lose a lot, especially if you are drunk.

I have only a little experience with international blackjack, but I have heard it can be difficult to lay down much action as an American. You also have to figure in travel costs, and you had better know how to spot cheating moves.

So from this, I'm getting:
1. Get a Nauruan/Venezuelan passport or marry a foreigner.
2. Travel on junkets or during peak season.
3. Korea is that bad? BJInfo suggested it offered a pretty good work environment.
4. [Redacted]
Anything critical I missed?
Also for those who network extensively it strikes me that APs hitting each other's countries both benefit from converting at zero commission.

"Wait a minute. How do you beat someone to death with their own skull? That doesn't seem physically possible." "That's what Jimmy kept screaming: 'This doesn't seem physically possible!'"
*Some* games in Australia are beatable. Last time I looked, Crown still offer S17, double 9, 10 and 11, DAS ,with at least 75% pen with 8 deck shoes, in the high roller rooms. But be very careful about heat - I would recommend strict flat bet aggressive Wonging. If you are an islander, asian or black that wood be good cover. The arsehole racists at Crown, just might turn a blind eye. Then again, you might end up in the Yarra - be very, very careful.
Koz84 would probably know better than me.
Hope that helps,
Brett.
