    Hello

While I won't talk about how much money(over the long other than to say I have been extremely lucky. I haven't had any long losing streaks I know there out there and headed my way base on everything I have read. By the way I have been playing since 96 on and off, sometimes I play 2 weeks a month, others I will not play for a year. I have read very many books and have software programs on my phone and laptop. I can count down a single deck under 20 seconds and dd under 50 seconds. I am very lucky with what I do for a living and am able to travel whenever I want. I bought SW's casino list looked for games with less than .35 edge and had fun.

The other question was where I was ask to leave, hard rock, rainbow, and diamond jacks.

As you can imagine it would be hard to be detected if someone were to play and not claim it on taxes. I personally think everyone should pay as little in taxes as possible. I play very short sessions 45 minutes to an hour if I lose I come back later on another shift. I usually go on a BJ milk run and have about 15 casinos I hit through the country as I am doing my day job. And I can tell you this it is very easy to win 600.00 per week without drawing much heat. The problem is there just isn't enough good games left. I only play single and double deck games, the Isle of Capri in Biloxi had a great 4 deck game but switch to 6 deck. By the way just to cut off the folks who would say 600.00 per week isn't much money I agree, but if you do the math after taxes of 600.00 per week is roughly a gross of 40,560.00

Must be that new math. LOL

I think what he's trying to say is that $31,200 tax free is like having a parttime job where you make $40,000 a year less taxes. Of course, the 'tax free' part is problematic, as he is advocating not paying taxes.

No I did not say not to pay taxes anywhere in the post , but apparently your IQ is a little more advanced than the other person.

    P.S.

If you would like someone to help you I would be glad. No strings no criticism, and I'll bet you will find you play far better than you think you do. Harpo

Your quote was "as you can imagine it would be hard to detect if someone were to play and not claim it on taxes. I personally think everyone should pay as little taxes as possible".

You weren't suggesting not to pay full share of tax responsibility?? Please! Don't insult us.

You are quite wrong with your IQ statement. I clearly fall well below Tthree. Being a new guy here, you probably aren't aware that I am the 'keep it simple guy'' while Tthree goes the other way (so to speak...lol).

Oh, and I just love it when some new guy shows up and wants to 'school' everyone on how to pay this game. If you had bothered to take a few minutes and read through some of this site, it would be more than apparent to you that Tthree knows a little something about this game and for the most part of which he speaks.

I am not evading tax in any way, shape or form. Of course, I am minimising my tax.

Anybody in this country who does not minimise his tax wants his head read.

I can tell you as a government that you are not spending it so well that we should be donating extra.
    - Kerry Packer
House of Representatives Select Committee on Print Media, 1991
"One of these days in your travels, you are going to come across a guy with a nice brand new deck of cards, and this guy is going to offer to bet you that he can make the Jack of Spades jump out of the deck and squirt cider in your ear. But, son, do not take this bet, for if you do, as sure as you are standing there, you are going to end up with an ear full of cider."

My first 2 months playing only weekends at one casino I was up approximately $10,000 playing 6-8 decks (mostly 8) using hi-lo and spreading 10-60, then later 20-120... then I started playing double deck, playing higher stakes, "taking shots," etc... basically, I was playing a game that I wasn't used to or prepared for and I lost back a good portion of my winnings. I feel most comfortable sitting at a 6-8 deck table with 4-5 other players. The count will sometimes shift dramatically between hands and it gives me time to make calculations and change my bet by a couple chips at times. Just my personal preference, and getting back into that setting has once again been profitable. I now stay away from higher stakes, empty tables and double deck.

I doubt you were playing a winning game. Perhaps around break even? Positive variance seems responsible for +$10k.

No, I'm sure it wasn't a winning game, but I'm one lucky SOB...

I guess everyone has their own comfort zone. I am exactly the opposite, I look for empty double deck tables. That is where I feel at home and made the most profits. I play shoes sometimes but I usually don't have success so I stay away from them for the most part. I have a lot of double deck games within my radius so I haven't had to get out of my comfort zone. I know at some point I will have to seriously improve my shoe game.
Don't judge a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes, by then you are a mile away and have his shoes.
