I'm noticing more and more that if I'm at a table playing by myself against an automatic shuffler, the cards don't seem to be coming out randomly. Instead, they're somehow benefitting the dealer to have 21s and blackjacks.

It doesn't seem to matter if the count is high, the shuffler seems to have more of an effect on who wins the hand.

I'm referring to automatic shufflers - not continuous shufflers.

I've played 130 days this year - mostly in the Seattle area and Colorado. So I have a sense of when the cards are coming out randomly, and there is a back and forth to who wins the hand. I'm aware there can be lopsided variations as to who gets the good cards. But some of these situations lately have been relentless with win after win for the dealer.

I'm curious if others have noticed this effect.
