I guess if your single, in your twenties, it doesn't matter and people don't care. Everyone at that age feels invincible but... You don't stay young forever. The one thing that scares me from playing full time(being that I'm not a spring chicken)and no one seems to talk about it is health care. 'Cause it ain't cheap!

One serious health issue, injury, and/or some other type of incapacitation. Like providing care for a very sick or injured spouse or child etc. That could eat up a very large, let alone a small bankroll quicker than some bad variance at the tables. Or what you can earn in hourly ev even if you could play.

I really don't know how to put a price on your health or that of a "significant other" that you may someday have to support with all your financial assets and possibly all of your time. That is why I keep a day job and work the minimal amount possible just to keep my health insurance. And also to show a legitimate stream of income for borrowing purposes.
