I've had only two cell phones in my life. They made me get rid of my first cell phone after only a couple years because it didn't have GPS tracking. They said a new law was passed that all cell phones had to have GPS tracking. Anyway, my existing cell phone is a flip phone. I really don't need a smart phone. What I really like about my existing phone is I got grandfathered into a plan that costs only 15 cents per minute and the minutes don't expire as long as I make one call a month. I only use it to check on wife while on blackjack trip and the calls are only a couple minutes. I figure I spend under $50 for an entire year.

Now I think my battery in my cell phone is providing a shorter life between charges. I never take my charger with me on a blackjack trip and in the past it would always be good for a three day trip. However, on my last 3 day trip I noticed the battery was almost gone. I never keep my phone turned on so if wife wants to reach me she will have to call casino. Told wife on last trip could only talk for a minute as battery was about to die. I also have a car phone, but don't like to walk all the way out to car to make a call. Anyway, how long should a cell phone last? I'm guessing this cell phone is about 15 years old, but can't remember how old it is.
