I have a question about table drop:

For ease of discussion, let's assume a table has just opened, and I am the first (and only) player.

I buy-in for $500. I play heads up, and lose $100. I walk away with $400 in chips. Is the table drop $100 or $500 ?

Alternate scenario: If I WIN $100, and then quit, what is the table drop under the second scenario? Is it
a negative $100 from the casino perspective? Or something else?

I ask because on a different thread one person seemed to challenge my perception of table drop. Wanted to clarify.

Thanks
