I just finished Ian Anderson’s “Burning the Tables”. He, Max Rubin and R.W. Munchkin all discuss and commend the value of playing rated for comps at different levels. Those are all legitimate players with serious credibility. This board can be very hostile to the idea. So:

Be it resolved that playing rated for comps is a legitimate pursuit for a card counter.

In order to stretch your thinking, I’d like you to take the opposite side of the argument to which you would normally default.
