Thinking of Making a Blackjack Trip to Kansas City MO

I'm looking for a destination that I have not been to before that has some good blackjack games.

I like small towns like Laughlin and Wendover but I don't know of anymore such locations with several casinos. I have not been to Reno or Kansas City. Reno will take 10 hours to get to while Kansas City will only take 5 hours.

I checked CBJN and see KC has four casinos Ameristar, Argosy, Harrahs, and Isle of Capri. Their double deck games look pretty good all with house edge of .40 and with decent pen.

So my first question is how safe is Kansas City especially near the casinos?

I would prefer not to have a car. I would probably take an airport shuttle to one of the casinos and stay there and use that one casino as my base. I see there is a bus route called 77 casino cruiser. http://ridekc.org/assets/uploads/rou...ules/77swk.pdf
Is this bus line safe? The bus is very cheap, but doesn't go to Argosy. Taxi would be quite expensive. Has anyone used this bus line?

Any recommendations for which casino to stay at? It appears Harrahs is located right in the middle.

What is the traffic like in KC? Remember I'm a country hick and most of the time I don't have a car behind me or for that matter one coming towards me. I'm just wondering if its possible to get by without renting a car.

Oh, one last thing. Can you camp out at these casinos. By camping out I mean play for at least four hours at double deck spreading 15 to 100 or 25 to 150 tops 200. I believe MO can't bar counters so do I have anything to worry about concerning counting.

I'm thinking about a four night trip.
