    I suppose it would depend on what the circumstances are for the "special" game. In those regards, it would be open season for dealer abuse.

    The OP could have chewed the dealer out and it would have seemed reasonable considering his circumstances since he viewed the dealers comments as being rude. The comments that got directed towards me on my last outing told me to make for an exit instead of stand and fight.

    I've never seen or heard of a BJ player in the casino get real rude with the house as of yet, at least not the tables that I've been on. The best form of dealer abuse that I have seen in the casino happened on the craps table, and this surly middle aged man let the dealers and the boxman have it with his surly remarks and they said nothing in return, they just endured his verbal assault. In a way I kind of liked it and got a kick out of it watching it all go down.
