Wasting time trying to convince systems players. Just look at all the baccarat and roulette trash out there. If you can't convince them, you surely won't convince the same type of blackjack player either.
The real worrying bit in Reyth's opening post is this . . .
Simply put . . . no. As everyone here appreciates (I hope) 24 Reds may have been spun in succession but the probability of the next number being red as well remains the same at 18/37 (on a European wheel). In the short time that I use to post at the esteemed Roulette30 forum, I did point this out (more than once I'm sure) but I regret to say my contributions tended to be received as heresy by the vast majority. As I've already suggested, IMHO Reyth needs to break free from all of his long held misconceptions and go back to the drawing board.

Norm, I also wanted to post this link, to show that the fact that you just posted it, had no statistical bearing upon whether or not I would also post it
I find it rather sad, in this day and age of instant information, technology, the internet, and the incredibly vast network of information dissemination, that people who have access to all of this can still live under a rock, where painfully ignorant views continue to be held and, worse, espoused. It's a sad commentary on the lack of resourcefulness of those who ought to know better.
