The new RGE book Powerful Pai Gow Poker: Best Play Against the Casino arrived this morning and all pre-orders were shipped out priority mail this afternoon.

Thanks to everyone who pre-ordered. Considering we aren't much known for pai gow around here, I was happily surprised at all the pre-orders that came in. Hope you all enjoy it!

I received the book two days ago--thanks for shipping it so quickly!

It differs from Wong's Optimal Strategy for Pai Gow Poker in a few recommendations. Based on the newer book's methodology, I assume that Powerful Pai Gow Poker gives better advice for someone playing against a casino. It also gives a more accurate, but still practical, strategy for playing two pair, the single most important strategy decision.

Granted, you can't make a living at pai gow poker, but if you play it occasionally for whatever reason, it's good to know the best strategy possible.

Yep, it is specifically subtitled "Best Play Against the Casino" for that reason.

It's great for just people watching, getting some comps, or even letting some blackjack heat die down. You look more like a balanced player to the casino, I think.
