zoomie: Playing more than 2 hands of SP21 in AC
Not long ago I played SP21 at a casino where I had not played in a long time. Table was empty. I asked the dealer if I could play 3. He says, "You can play all of them if you want." In a few minutes with 1 other player on 2 spots, I tried spreading to the other 4. "Whoa, just kidding," he said. But he and his replacement let me play 3. Is this common in AC? (I've played 2 other places and they both limit players to 2 boxes.)

Some AC houses limit you to 2 spots and if the table is full (often the case at Sp21) and someone wants a spot, they'll make you give up a spot. On the bright side, unlike most places, AC doesn't make you double your bet when you spread to 2 spots.

True. I don't like giving up a spot, but I like the rule requiring double the min if you play 2. If I play 2, I want more money on the table. How convenient that the casino makes me do it.
