    zoomie: Penetration and HE

Another stupid question: Recently at a BJ table with a pretty big HE - H17, DOA, DAS, no LS or RSA - dealers were cutting thin, even 15% (i.e., less than 1 deck out of a 6 deck shoe). Am I right in thinking this goes a long way to making up for the large edge (assuming a competent AP, steep bet ramp (1 unit on 1 box to 12.5 units each on 3))?

Yes, absolutely. Most players would kill for such a game.

About Blackjack: The Forum

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage. To maximize our success, it is important to understand that we are all on the same side. Personal conflicts simply get in the way of our goals.
