Horst Behrend: RED 7/KISS 3: in fact level-2 counts!

    Hi,

if normally level-2 systems outperform level-1 systems, the everlasting question which count is best RED 7 or KO can be answered: RED 7 IS a level-2 count.

But what can we learn from a comparison of Red 7 and Kiss 3? Which is the stronger system if taken as LEVEL-2 COUNTS?

    I.
    RED 7 original tags (2…A)
    +1, +1, +1, +1, +1, +1(red), 0 (black), 0, 0, -1, -1
    RED 7 tags doubled (2…A)
    +2, +2, +2, +2, +2, +1, 0, 0, -2, -2

    II.
    KISS 3 original tags (2…A)
    0(red), +1(black), +1, +1, +1, +1, +1, 0, 0, -1, -1
    KISS 3 tags doubled (2…A)
    +1, +2, +2, +2, +2, +2, 0, 0, -2, -2

    Thanks
    Horst

Good question. It may depend on the relative importance of four factors, the BC vs PC, the Bet spread and the number of decks. Will someone sort it out please?

    Hi russ,

Thank you very much for your comment.

When we look at red 7 and kiss 3 as unbalanced LEVEL-2 systems, I think we must get higher efficiencies.

    Red 7 doubled tags (2…A): +2,+2,+2,+2,+2,+1,0,0,-2,-2
    Kiss 3 doubled tags (2…A): +1,+2,+2,+2,+2,+2,0,0,-2,-2

    The questions are:

    1.
How do the “level-2 versions” affect BC-, PE- and IC-values, SCORE etc.?

    2.
How do the index numbers differ?

    3.
    Optimal betting spreads?

These new “double tags systems” would still be easy but (hopefully) stronger. Can any of the math authorities help with sims?

    Thanks in advance
    Horst

Red7 should outperform Kiss3 in multi-deck games because of it's higher betting efficiency. If you're playing single deck Kiss3 would be better.

Also, doubling the card tag values should have no effect on the betting ,playing amd insurance efficiencies.
