brighten: Question for Walker. Does Sp 21 with Redoubling and S17.

I bought your book and I really like it. It is something that I was looking for a long time. I was thinking about writing simulation code myself from scratch to study the game. Your book could same me years of time and made me learn a tons of things I can not find by myself.

I just start to play Sp 21 game with Redoubling. The major problem is that I do not have simulation software to do sim for game with redoubling. I can use CVDat to do sim with S17 game now. So my question is Does S17 sp 21 has similiar winning rate compared to game H17 with redoubling. I send you a message from Bjinfo, and I have not heard from you yet. Could you leave me an email address so I can ask some some questioin when I need. Thanks in Advance!

Is there any software on the market that support redoubling feature for Sp21? At the same time, I wish Norm can add this feature to CVData soon.

    thanks!

I suggest you look at www.dftsimulab.com. The software is $100 and it will simulate the game rules you describe.

Katarina Walker: I can give you a copy of my code for free.

I wrote simulation software for SP21 myself because there was not any product on the market that would do it.
Now, Norm's does, but not for redoubling.

I can email you a copy of my own code. You will have to wait a little while because I am fulltime in college doing a Masters in Multimedia and have a huge workload and exams starting Monday. I haven't used my code for a while, and I also need to put together all the input files for you and zip it up. All that will take some time, which I don't have right now.
