21forme: Are index plays portable between counting systems?

For example, I use True KO. Can I use the I-18 as outlined by Don or other indexes (or is it indices?) as described by Wong?

Reason I ask is I was discussing this with a friend of mine who uses one of the Revere counts, and he says in his system 12v3 is +1, not +2.

    ToJeDobro: Re: No.

There are many elements of a betting/playing system. Is it ace-reckoned? Which rules does it attack? Is it multi-level? It it balanced or unbalanced? Is it rounded, floored, truncated? Et cetera ...

All of these and more impact the efficacy of the system. You should play a system as it is designed. If you think you know an improvement, then simulate it. If the simulation bears you out then play it, otherwise drop the alteration.
