10-liner: Request for Don (can find no private contact details)

    Don,

On pp. 55 of BJA there is an "outcomes" table I would like to reproduce in table format on the "blackjack" page of my website. Would you be agreeable to this? I would give full credit and a link to AP or any other site of your choosing.

I would obviously email you this, but I can find no contact details.

I have put up my email, and if a mod wants to delete this post I would appreciate a note as to how I can contact Don on the matter.

    Thanks.

Second edition. You really should get the third edition! :-)

    What site would that be?

I would have to know a little bit more about you and your site before I would grant such permission.

You can reach me here, or by e-mailing Viktor or Bettie at rge21.com

    See above.

    Ah, thanks Don.

See here - I am "undirect linking" by substituting "tt" with "xx", so you need to stick the "pp" back in:

    hxxp://www.hundredpercentgambling.com/blackjack_overview.htm#some_useful_figures

I would propose sticking it in under the "bust rate" text.

Me: nobody, LOL. The site is intended as a resource for the online gambler to learn to minimise his losses and even gain a small edge on occasions. I follow the scene, attend the odd gambling convention and try to help out where I can. Can't think of much else to tell you

OK if I stick the "tt" back in, instead?! :-)

I had never heard of, or read, this site, and am rather impressed by it. They've done some very nice work. (They got the closest BS play wrong, toward the end -- it's not A,7 v. 2, but rather A,2 v. 5 -- but, no matter.)

Well, thank you. Let's pass on providing the chart; I don't really think they need it. But, thank you for asking, and thanks for putting our readers and me on to this informative site.

    Thanks, Don. "They" is "me"

Fair enough about the chart - I would have liked to use it, but will certainly abide by your wishes.

Additions / suggestions / corrections always welcome.

Oh, terribly sorry about that. In rereading everything you wrote, that should have been clear to me. My apologies. And, lovely job with the site.

I'll continue to think about it.

Will reread one day, in more detail. For now, reconsider your comment, towards the end, that the closest BS decision is A,7 v. 2. Check out A,2 v. 5 (8-deck) in BJA3, and let me know what you find, as to which is "closer." :-)
