    Zeus71: Strange Shuffle Machine?

    Hello,

I visited an european casino where they used a shuffling machine, where the dealer insert more or less 2 decks from the discards track each time(not every round)
...and..with 2 colors reds and blues cards not mixed.(I think the total decks are 4, 2 reds and 2 blue, but not riffle eachother, each deck has the same color)

    So, my question is:
I can count with this game ?
If I know when the new decks start (red or blue) (2 decks) ,it's not equivalent to play a 2 decks with 100% penetration?

    sorry for my english.

    Ciao

I can't say that I've seen this exact shuffle machine or procedure, but it sounds similar to the 6D or 8D games that are disguised as 2D games. The most important question is whether the two-deck packs of a single color are, in fact, taken from a larger six- or eight-deck pack.

If this is the case, you're really playing a 6D or 8D game with a meager 33% or 25% penetration. This is certainly not a very countable game, but I think this is more likely than having a 2D game with virtually 100% penetration.

    Thank you David.

For what I see, seems realy that I'm playing a 2 decks game with 100% penetration.I repeat.. they put the older 2 decks (same color)from the discard track in to the machine.(a blackbox where you can see the new cards insert by the dealer, at the end of the "virtual" shoe)

I try to ask how many decks are in play, if they reply me that are 4 (for example) , I 'm sure I 'm playing a 2 decks 100% pen.

    thanks again David.

    Thank You David.

I think they use a 8 decks game, but waiting to put the 2 decks dealt, with the same color in the machine, it's the same playing vs. a 2 decks game.

Hope it's that. next time I ask...at the dealer :-)

    ciao.

If it truly is a 2D game with 100% penetration, which still seems very unlikely, please let me know where. I'd fly to the end of the earth for such a game.

I'm very curious about their answer--I hope it's what you think it is. Let me know what they say.
