Norm Wattenberger: Casino Verite and Windows Vista
All QFIT products will support Windows Vista. The support is completed for CV Blackjack V4 and can be downloaded from www.qfit.com/downloads.htm. Changes include:
[*]New installation software that supports Vista[*]New Help as Vista doesn't natively support Windows Help[*]CV will use the voice that comes with Vista for Cassie's voice. This is a far superior voice.[*]I paid the extortion fee needed to stop those annoying installation messages that say I'm an unknown company not to be trusted.[/list]
There is no charge for this update. Vista costs enough

Slightly off topic, but ...
Do you think Vista is worth moving to if one was running XP Media Center?
I have an AMD 4400 X2 proc and wondered if Vista would take advantage of that better.
Thanks!

Oh yes, Vista will hog even more of your CPU than XP! Seriously, your processor will operate just as well with any modern OS - Vista, XP, Linux, etc. Vista will take better advantage of your 3D graphics card, USB flash drives and HD-DVD/Blu-Ray drives.

Parker: Speaking of Vista . . .
With the official release of Vista still a week away, patches and updates are already in the works (link below).
This should come as a surprise to, well, nobody.
I would suggest that anyone considering upgrading should wait a while, unless you have a really pressing need for 3D effects and eye candy.
