playing too long at a place you have ploppy history

I was playing this weekend and limited my sessions to about 30-45 mins at each casino and got in about 16 hrs in 3 days. One of the casinos i spent about alot of time in ( more than the 30-45 min sessions) because they all know me and know that I lost big their last year ( lost about 60k there). I felt know heat whatsoever from there and got welcomed with open arms. I had shift managers come over and just sit and talk with me asking for stock tips and if i needed any extra comps. Because of this treatment i used no playing cover just bet 2 1/2 units on the a freshly shuffled shoe. out of the 16 hrs I play at this place 9 hrs. I played 3 hr sessions instead of 30-45 mins sessions. Was this stupid even if they rolled out the red carpet for me?

    p.s.

I have to use my real players card at this place because they all know who i am. Would love peoples opinion and advice.

Not necessarily. This approach will work....for a while.
You may still need to hide your winnings if you can and try to book a loss every now and then.

Eventually though, if you win enough, you will not be welcomed.
Life is short so hit it hard!

From personal experience, Coyote, I can assure you that you are right on point. They may not back you off or "flat bet" you, but an effective maneuver is to revoke your RFB status. Between suite comps, food and beverage, especially if you have one or two guests or family members shirt-tailing you on trips, can amount to a significant amount, i.e., a two night stay can exceed 3K in comps.

I used to be really really good at JA's Nugget in Reno. Everyone loved me, shift managers used to come up and call me by name and personally bring me to the cage to reimburse my airfare, etc, then one night while a shift manager was walking by he looked over at my two hands of $500 bet on their single deck game and saw me win a insurance bet while holding 15 and 16. Suddenly he stayed far away and two nights later I was backed off.

Don't assume their "love" will last forever and don't assume that some winning session or play decision you make, especially when they are standing right there, won't come back to haunt you later. I had a similar situation at a casino in Vicksburg, one night while playing double deck I got greedy and made two $500 table max bets which caused the dealer to holler table max and as it happened the Director of Table Games was the one to come over and watch the round and I got two snappers. I got backed off the next day.

Play longer where you have a big loss, but keep your head on a swivel when the big bosses are around.

Great Advice BP. I am pretty sure a couple max bet double down index plays that I won while a PB who normally welcomed me was watching caused me to get BO'd the following trip. Oddly the place kept all my comps in place at least for now.

    They are not all stupid.
