    kc: Rules question

If a game has a 5 card charlie rule where a hand consisting of 5 cards is an automatic winner and also has a rule allowing doubling on any number of cards, would an unbusted doubled hand consisting of 5 cards also be an automatic winner? This seems to be a real unlikely combination of rules. It could be an interesting set of rules for a blackjack tournament though.

If you're making the rules then you get to decide! In Spanish 21, for example, you forgo any possible 678 or 777 bonus if you double on your first two cards. However, if the bonus did pay it might entice some crazy doubles particularly, as you say, in a tournament.
