    Sun Runner: Thanks so much

Recently I sold a lot more of my soul to the man each week and therefore will not be able to participate here near as often as I have enjoyed doing so in the past.

I'm know that will dispirt many as the thought of an actual j.o.b. surely discourages you, but I have one, and it just got bigger.

Since I'm gonna be out of the loop for the next near term at least I'd like to publically say thanks to VN, BP, RLP, NW, and DS for ..

.. in the beginning, the patience you accorded me in allowing me to flesh out my view of this game. Thank you for continuing to answer easy foolish questions of mine simply because I did not have the time to figure it out on my own. And thank you for just being ?at least through this unseen medium ?kind and decent stand-up people.

Add'lly, thanks to all of you who have helped me see and understand this game, that in turn help me take advantage of some of the opportunities I had just been walking by.

    See ya'll around the net.

    SR,

I have enjoyed having fun with you the last few years. I hope that I may get to meet with you someday.

You are a good and wise man and I have always felt a sadness to see my friends on these sites slowly fade away.

For those of us that have been deep in the BJ trenches we have that special understanding of one another and a kinship that at times became very close.

I hope you still have that team shirt I sent you and that if you still do.... and you see it occasionally... you will remember with with a smile.

    Best to you,
    Your friend,
    Ouchez.

    Bettie: No, thank YOU

for your support, your kind words, and your money ... uh, I mean, patronage (yeah, yeah, that's it) over the last few years. It's been almost 4 years since the "unpleasantness," and I'm happy to report that we are doing well and have lots of good stuff planned for the future because you and others had the common sense to keep an open mind.

Anyway, after a kind of crappy day, it's nice to hear kind words, and yours are actually the second I've received today, so thanks. Best of luck to you!

Sorry you are having a bad day, so here are a few more kind words.
Thanks for prompt delivery of two items ordered. "Beat the 8-deck Game" is a bit out-dated maybe. Most of the information can be found in later works with more detail, but for two bucks I'm not complaining. I'm happy to have it since I'm forced to play mainly 8-deck.
And I'm really getting a kick out of "Blackjack Wisdom". It's entertaining, educational, and well written.

And Snyder is selling essentially the same book through Cardoza for $25 now, so $2 is a pretty good deal.

Yeah, Snyder is a great writer, and he's a lot like that in real life. A great storyteller and very entertaining.

Thanks (today is going MUCH better!),
