Myooligan: quick question
So I'm about to head off on my first real trip. I have the good fortune of having a friend who wants to come along and just hang out with me at the tables, even though she doesn't plan on playing. She wants to help out. What should I have her do? (She's sharp but doesn't know anything about blackjack)
I might encourage her to distract the pit boss, although she would probably end up doing so whether I asked her to or not.

Shaggy18VW: quick answer
Use her as an excuse to leave the table. Maybe set up some signals to let her know to come over and interrupt the game so you can leave.
Also get her to join the game when the count is good. Get her to bet big (with your bank of course). This will allow you to get bigger spreads than you could otherwise.

Myooligan: quick thankyou
Thanks for the suggestions, Shaggy. Just got back, and there were a few times when I made less-than-graceful exits from the tables. I'll try some of those ideas next time.
