lagavulin62: average dollar bet
at the bottom of page 16 in bj attack 3, they talk about s.d. and your average dollar bet for your spread. my question is how do you calculate that average bet? example: if I am using a 10-1 spread(5-50) using KO how do I figure my average dollar bet for a 6 deck game?

You get, either from simulation software (such as CVCX), or a book, such as John Auston's "World's Greatest BJ Simulation" series, the frequency distribution of the RCs or TCs that you encounter. Next to each one, you write down your bet size. Then, you multiply, horizontally, and sum the products vertically. The answer is your average bet size.
Of course, the software calculates that for you, as well!

I knew I could find a reason to upgrade v3 with cvcx. thanks for the explanation. if I can find the book I'll even do it myself.

lagavulin62,
You can get the frequencies mentioned by Don online: click the link below, enter the game information, and see the results.
