MJ: FakeIDGroup.com- Legitimate or Scam?
Somebody asked about this website on another board and I was wondering if anybody has any experience dealing with this site or websites like it.
If they take your money and you never recieve the ID, then I don't think there is any recourse. All I'm looking to do is maintain my privacy at the tables and apply for a player's card so I can get comps.

Bettie: My suggestion
is always to get "ID by Mail," a catalog of hundreds of different types of ids, both legal and "for entertainment purposes only." While I buy almost everything via the 'net, I'd rather go through someone I know for an ID. Next best thing is this book/catalog, where all of the vendors have been researched by Eden Press (a leader in privacy information).

ok, I don't expect to get tapped on the shoulder anytime soon but I do need to prepare for that day. so bettie, are you telling me that I can order a fake id, create some bogus name with this site, present the "legal" id to mr. heat and it will be acceptable? I do have concerns about presenting a real id to casino personell and it honestly has nothing to do with expert play.
thanks

Parker: Not exactly

Exactly when and how an "alternative" ID is used in a casino environment is not really an appropriate topic for discussion on an open message board, don't you think?

I joined the player's club of the Pioneer, in Laughlin. As part of the indoctrination ceremony they have you stand for a photo, kind of like the DMV.

WM: Re: FakeIDGroup.com- Legitimate or Scam?
On 7/24/05 a group of eight friends and I ordered nine total novelty IDs, and soon after sent a sum of $540 via Western Union. We have heard not one word from Fakeidgroup.com since this date, despite numerous complaining e-mails. Our conclusion: Scam.

Judging from what I have heard, nearly all of the online "novelty ID" sites are either outright scams or deliver a useless low quality product.
I'm sorry you lost your money, but perhaps your post will serve as a warning to others.
