I've been able to make that bet exactly once in my time playing. There have been several other times I've had comparable advantages, but never that high.

My question was for EV on a particular hand, or toss, or spin or any other single gambling event, for which you knew the advantage beforehand, betted it properly and extracted your max EV. No need to know if actually won or lost.

So if you knew that you would have a double down opportunity on that particular hand, and you knew that dealer occasionally makes pay-off errors and had calculated that in your overall advantage against her and betted accordingly that particular hand...

I think, so far, wookets is #1 with EV=$344

I have had many bets with higher than $344 in ev, but can't think of one with as high as 688% edge going in. About the highest % edge I remember was something over 400%.

Same. I've had a few 400%-ish scenarios, but they were low-EV in the sense that the wagers were very small. I've had several much higher EVs for a single round, but the overall edge was in the single-digits. The biggest EV I've ever had on one round of a casino game is probably around $300, which is something that I've done quite a few times.

Edit: now that I think about it, I've played quite a few rounds where the EV was closer to $400 for that round.

Now if you can remember how much was the max bet allowed we might have a new leader. :-)
Sorry, you said already you had ev bigger than $344, but for the sake of competition if you can put a number on it?

Highest EV in terms of dollars I've seen was a 3-minute per hour promo which offered a 70-80% edge. Max bet was $600 (EV of $420-480 per hand), but you could bet up to seven spots if you had the whole table to yourself.

Needless to say, this one didn't last long.

How many spots were you able to bet table max, so we can put a $ on one round?

Biggest actual EV based on edge was probably when I bet three hands of $2,500 with a +10 High-Low True Count so what's 4.5% advantage x $7,500 was $337.50. I spend 18 hours betting 3x$500 at a Triple Down promo, and one Fathers Day betting up to 3x$1000 at IP in Biloxi on a 2:1 BJ Promo (the first one). The second one there I did not get a seat.

I know some people bet table max for the first 10 minutes of each hour at Bally's New Orleans when they had 3:1 BJ promo which at single deck was a 4.5% advantage off the top with a possible advantage of up to 10-12% in a big count.

THE LIST - biggest EV on a single round of a casino game you played

    1. $2000 - RWM

    2. $1350 - EmeraldCityBJ

    3. $400 - Lonesome Gambler

    4. $344 - wookets

    5. $337.5 - bigplayer

    6. $102 - MARILLION

    7. $23.69 - safefr0g $

And I forgot the play during my last casino trip, which produced one-round EV = $102 - enough for 6th place for now. :-)

I wasn't able to play it myself since I was backed off from the place, but I was able to send in a few other folks. I think they bet 2-3 spots, so let's call it $1350 per round.

Added to the list, thank you.
