What was your biggest EV in one hand or round, or spin (not necessarily Blackjack game)?
I just wanted to send a similar answer.
The EV on one spin of the roulette wheel is always negative (belongs to the disadvantage forum).
Regarding Blackjack, the EV depends on the conditions, e.g. if you calculate EV after you got your initial two cards, after your first hit card (if any) etc.
Examples:
If you get a natural and the dealer shows no Ace or Ten up, your EV is 150% on that hand.
Probably the EV is even higher when the dealer shows a 5,6,7,8 or 9,
you doubled on 11 and drew a Ten to 21, because your chance
of winning that hand is very large (maybe 90%) and when you win,
it would be 200%, so EV is about 0.9 x 200% = 180% in this case.

"~180% on the hand"
I understand EV like this: EV = advantage x bet size x # of bets
So bet size is important too.

"I assume the OP is asking about the ev before you receive the hand."
Yes I don't know what it would be called if calculated after.
I was interested also in your data, RWM. :-)

"Highest edge that I can remember: 688%, but sadly the bet was relatively small ($50)."
So you are saying it was 688% x $50= $344; I guess $50 was the max allowed?

"$6,000, dealer paid a losing double down on a $1500 original wager."
But come on, bigplayer, you didn't expected the dealer to make this error, or did you?
Plus did you expect your double down opportunity on that hand?
