As the number of casinos offering "real" single deck (meaning 3:2 BJ payout) continues to dwindle, those still offering it have no choice but to become more protective of their games, since they are a magnet for both counters and strong BS players. So yes, they can be quite sweaty, and who can really blame them?

That being said, someone with a $20 max bet is obviously no threat to their bottom line, so I have to suspect one or more of the following:

[*]You were so obviously and brazenly counting that you left them no choice.
[*]You did something, perhaps unwittingly, to annoy a dealer, pitboss, or the other players.
[*]You "camped out" for an extended period of time and they simply got tired of looking at you.[/list]

In the Jackie Gaughan days, they did not share info at all. However, Barrick seems more organized. I have received mailings concerning joint promotions between the casinos, so they may well now be sharing more info. Nonetheless, my guess is that they would not bother to inform the other properties about the red chip counter that was killing them. :-)

BTW, I would be remiss in my duties as host/moderator if I neglected to point out that this really belongs on the Las Vegas Everything page.
