MJ: Card Counting vs. Ace Sequencing
If a BJ player could only use one of the above advantage play techniques which of the two would yield him a greater EV in the long run?
The game is the typical 6 deck game found in Foxwoods. Lets just say there is 70% penetration. If he decides to count he would play with the KO Preferred System. On the other hand, if the player decides to track aces he can keep track and mark 4 aces per shoe. Also, he has 2 teammates at the table(no other players) to help steer and track the aces should he go that route.
Thanks to anybody who can shed light on this.

Personally, if you could track and mark 4 aces per shoe then, along with 'steering' them, I would say, IMOH, that Ace sequencing gave the higher EV. However it does also depend on the spreads that you use for both methods - Ace sequencing tends to employ an occasional big bet, or bets, while card counting can increase more gradually.
You may also find that you do not last as log playing the 'Aces' depending on the skill level of the management at spotting that style of play.
Better still, if you have 2 players 'steering', then can't one of them also be counting ?
That way you get the best of both Worlds.
Best regards
Geoff
