SpiderMan: Rare out-of-print books!
Wilson's "The Casino Gamblers Guide" and Uston's "The Big Player" are available on "amazon.com"! Even Braun's "How to Play Winning BJ" could be found on that website... Isn't that good news?

Seems Amazon has finally expanded into the used market, prices are 'reasonable' too.
The prices are about halfway what you would expect to pay on Ebay & the bookfinder sites who normally charge double price, (half for them & half for the store holding the book.)
I got Braun's book on Ebay under $10, 2 copies of Wilson's under $10 from Abebooks & Powell's, & The Big Player under $10 at a 2nd hand bookstore in the last twelve months, plus others like BJ SuperGold. This stuff whilst treasure to us is trash for the less knowledgable booksellers.
The author's are only famous within a niche market.
Bookfinding sites like Albiris charge up to & over $100 for Braun & Wilson's & around $50 for Uston's.
Thanks for the info.

ET Fan: Different article
The article on bjmath is the original article on basic strategy, 1956, from the Journal of the American Statistical Association. It contains no suggestions for playing to an advantage, and quotes a house edge of .6%, though there is something that looks suspiciously like an effects of removal table toward the end.
Playing Blackjack to Win is an actual book -- a collector's item -- written 1957 that makes suggestions on varying play based on the cards observed. The seeds of card counting.
