    Most face up games are multiple deck where as most face down games are 1 or 2 deck...my guess would be because of the time involved in changing out the old cards for new...most 1 and 2 decks get changed every hour or two due to wear and possible marks..this change usually doesn't take more then a few minutes and players will usually wait thru it however with 6 or 8 decks the card changing process is much longer and therefore most casinos only change them once a shift or even once a day so it is important that they do not get any unnessacary wear or marks that could be played for hours on end...just my 2 cents...If I am wrong speak up guys...SM

    I played at a country where you can touch double down cards on 6D games. The casinos used plastic cards, change cards several weeks once... they were taken more than $100k before finding their Aces had been marked...
