Bettie: Please, take some time
and read my post on the LV Everything page regarding the false statement in today's LVRJ that card counting is illegal in the state of Nevada.
Sorry for the cross-posting, but many more people read the main page, and I wanted to reach out to as many as possible.
Thanks,
Bettie

Garry Baldy: Re: Email sent, answer received
Looks like small victory:

Luck.

LVBear584: "Journalism" standards lowered?
...That card-counting info came from the producer I interviewed in London....
Reporters used to do what was called "fact checking." I guess standards have been lowered in journalism. I'm glad you were able to get her to agree to a correction. I await tomorrow's paper.

Bettie: Correction in today's LVRJ:
The Shooting Stars column in Monday's Review-Journal incorrectly reported that card-counting while playing blackjack is illegal in Nevada. Using a device such as a computer to facilitate card-counting is illegal and casinos have the right to exclude players suspected of counting cards.
Not exactly crystal clear, is it?
Bettie
