MGM High Limit is H17 but you can re-split aces now. Don't waste your time, you'll be the only one there on weekdays.
I thought it was common knowledge.
In Foxwoods, the high-limit room (Newport) cuts off a little more than half a deck.
S17 & surrender, with approximately 3/4 deck cut-off.
If you play alone, they know that they won't run out of cards, so they cut off slightly less than half a deck.
Run the simulations, and you'll agree that that's unbelievable.
Crowded weekends and holidays notwithstanding, there are always $50 tables and the dealers are under strict orders to cut one deck. If more than that is cut, they are being indifferent or just plain lazy.
Good luck with trying to spread your bets in this room.
Foxwoods, aside from the strict less than 1 deck cut-off, they have also been instructed to look for bet spreads, and also specifically spreading from one hand to two hands. It seems an out-sourced consultant has been advising Foxwoods. Bravo! However, the dealers and the floor supervisors are inexperienced with camouflage betting & playing strategies, and if you distract them by incessantly talking to them, you'll be fine. Size them up and try to figure out what *they* want to talk about, and talk their ears off. Don't stare at the cards while performing mental acrobatics. Ask silly questions like, "Would you hit a 12 vs 2?" "Should I double 9 vs 3?" They will slow down the game and give you their personal experiences, which will give you some time to cool off your head.
Many of us here have been backed-off, and some have been trespassed.
