    newbie: basic strategy

    does basic strategy take into account,that when you are playing against an ace up the dealer cannot have a ten in the hole?If so is this why enhc strategy is different? Thank-you

    If the dealer has a 10 you will lose 100% of the time regardless of your actions, so your strategy would not change. ENHC is different because you will (usually) lose any additional money you invest on splits or doubles.

    I don't use basic strategy charts when I get a blackjack.
